I have been privileged to have worked shoulder to shoulder with many dog loving volunteers. I concede that I have been the captain of the ship but I could not have accomplished what our group has done without the many responsive volunteers standing behind me. Laurence Karz, who unexpectedly passed away this week, was my ROCK in so many ways. He offered free legal advice, postage, great general counsel and outrage when needed, and countless strategy sessions in groups, in his office, walking our dogs at the VA. He always wanted to know what was happening 30, 60, 90 days ahead and how he could help. He was an awesome advocate for the dog park and how it would enhance the community at large. I will miss him greatly and am resolute that this park be built, unfortunately without his steadfast support, in his honor. Rest in Peace, Laurence. I will miss you heart and soul. I/we will get this park built!
