Stand Up and Be Counted!
Every few days I run into a dog owner who knows nothing about the dog park project. How about you?
It has become a VERY important task for us to collect the number of dog park supporters so we can share that with the City Council. They need to know that Canandaigua dog lovers want a dog park! Please REGISTER as a dog park supporter by clicking on the STAND UP & BE COUNTED box on the right side of our home page and filling out a form. It will take one minute of your time.
I am communicating with about 200 dog lovers (between Gmail and Facebook) but there are 1,300 licensed dogs in the City of Canandaigua. As we move forward to determine the location, then address the funding options for a dog park, we need to be communicating with and engaging ALL residents who are likely to use this amenity. Friends of Canandaigua Canine Campus (CCC) will be creating a direct mail campaign to let all dog owners know about this project. However, we are not able to fund this initiative without your help.
We are collecting books of postage stamps. Please consider donating a book of 20 first class stamps ($9.80). Or two or three! Chris and Jill Glattly are loaning us their business address to receive the stamps–and are kicking off Operation: Stamp the Dog Lovers by donating the first two books. We only have 63 more books to go!
Please drop off or mail stamps to: Glattly Pianoforte 103 Leicester St., Suite A, Canandaigua, NY 14424. It would be helpful to note on the envelope, lower left, Att: Friends of CCC.
Thank you!
