A Secret Dog Park Admirer Donates $25,000!

 In Uncategorized

LOTS of great news to share…

Our overall fundraising efforts have now produced $48,275–thanks  an anonymous $25,000 donation from a secret dog park admirer today!

Many of you have donated your time and treasure (sometimes twice!) to the cause and I thank you for that! The monies raised include $7,000 from the Going to the Dogs art event (including $1,575 in pet memorial rock sales/donations), an extremely generous gift from our own Mayor Ellen Polimeni, lots and lots of checks from individuals and businesses ranging from $20 to $25,000.

If you haven’t yet made a donation, please consider it today. Click Make A Donation link for instructions. Truly every dollar and donor counts.

Canandaigua Canine Campus is slated to open THIS summer at 97 Buffalo Street! Drive by and see cleared land, driveway and parking lot in progress. With a recently formed construction partnership between city and town, town residents will be able to register their dogs at the same city rates (still be determined but council is considering $30/dog). Both the city and town are donating $30,000 each plus in-kind construction and equipment for the park build.

Spread the word to the dog lovers in your life! Let’s get to our $78,000 goal to be “one and done” so that all the park amenities we are subsidizing with our fundraising efforts can be finished.

I am doggone excited! Are you with me?!

All the best,

Nancy McCarthy
